Cornerstone pages/posts no longer working

Hi

our website is no longer displaying the homepage or posts.

For example, the ‘for sale’ page contains the posts - when the posts are clicked on they do not display the correct information anymore. This is also the case with the homepage.

Hi Bryn,

I have checked your website and found the issue you described. The problem you are facing might be due to an improper update of the Cornerstone. I would suggest you update the Cornerstone by following the below steps.

1. Delete the existing Cornerstone.
2. After deleting, use the link in the dashboard to automatically install the Cornerstone. It will be the latest version.

If that does not help, there might be some different reasons behind the problem you are facing. I would suggest troubleshooting the following common issue to help us to recognize the reason.

1.Theme Related Issue
2.Plugin Conflict
3.Theme Update related issue
4.Child Theme Related issue
5.CSS/JS Customization
6.Disabling Cache
7.Disabling CDN

If you discover that an issue is coming from a custom code or 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact the plugin author. Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and 3rd party plugins.
If none of the above helps, please copy your live site to a staging server so we can troubleshoot freely without breaking your live site.
And give us access to the secure note including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

ok I’ve deleted and reinstalled without any luck. I’ve looked into the other reasons and I have limited knowledge but cant see any issue. Is there anything else you can do to help?

Hello Bryn,

Thanks for updating in! If you go to Settings > Reading > Your homepage displays, you have assigned the HOME page as your homepage and did not assign any page for your blog index. If you unassign the Home page as your homepage, your homepage will display the latest post items.

When I edit the homepage in Cornerstone, I am seeing all the Sections, Rows, Columns and other classic elements in the builder but nothing displays in the preview. Can you please clone your site in a staging site so we can safely deactivate some of the installed plugins and troubleshoot the issue?

Hi Bryn,

Unfortunately, setting up the staging site is beyond the scope of Theme Support. I would suggest you contact your hosting service provider to create it for you.
