I had made a page template for a new page to copy onto another website. I saved the page layout in Cornerstone, then downloaded the template; uploaded it to a new website and after doing so, that changed all of the website colors within the website Color Manager…
Is there a way to take a page template to another website that would just take the page layout and not change all of the internal color settings? Or did I do something wrong?

Regretfully, there’s currently no way to exclude colors from the template. What you can do is to inspect the colors in your page template and ensure the colors in the Color Manager are renamed because if the site you’re importing the page template to uses the same name, the colors will get updated or overridden.
This usually happens when using colors coming from demos. We forget to rename the colors when updating the color so when the color is imported to a new site using the same demo colors, it gets changed too.
