Cornerstone Page Editor Won't Load

Hi there,

We’re trying to load the page editor on our staging domain and we keep receiving the following error message: “A conflict on the front end of your site has prevented the preview from loading.”

We’ve tried disabling plugins one at a time to no avail and funny enough, the normal site works just fine. Is there any chance you could take a look?

Thanks for writing in!

Can you try the following please:

  • Check all custom CSS and Javascript. A syntax error will prevent Cornerstone from working correctly, even though the live site would usually work.
  • Are you using Cloudflare at all? If you are, try disabling Cloudflare for testing purposes and ensure all minification is disabled. Any additional minification by Cloudflare will break the editor.

If the above still doesn’t work, please include some WP Admin Logins in a secure note and we’ll take a look for you.
