Cornerstone not working (session expired)

Hi,

Since updating X Theme and Cornerstone, when I try to edit a page in Cornerstone, it says this:

"Loading…
Close dialogue
Session expired

Please log in again. The login page will open in a new window. After logging in you can close it and return to this page."

I have tried quite a few things you have suggested in other posts:

Clearing cache
Disabling plugins one by one (and all off too)
Many other things.

Can you please take a look at my site and let me know what is going on?

Cornestone doesn’t load on my website also since the last Xtheme update :confused:

Hi,
Just in case this might help someone… I have been struggling with cornerstone 6.1.3 not loading for a couple of days and I was able to correct it on a staging site and a production site by upgrading to the latest version of WordPress and re-validating X from the cornerstone home section. (You also might want to check your php version). Although my version of X 6.1.3 says it is validated, my cornerstone home section is still telling me I have to validate cornerstone… but it works. None of the other advice got it to work and I tried everything I could find on the forum.

I have the last version of wordpress and I have also upgrated my PHP version (to 7.2) and I have still the problem.
Do you know what we need to do to have an answer from the Xtheme team ?

I too still have this problem despite updating everything on my site, my php, and turning off all plugins one by one in case they conflict with the latest version.

Upon testing further, I see that you have installed WordPress v4.8.3 on your site. Could you please try updating it to the latest version which is v4.9.6 and it should resolve your issue.

Download the latest version from here and follow their update guide (https://codex.wordpress.org/Upgrading_WordPress).

Great! Thank you - I hadn’t realised it wasn’t the latest version of WP (as it was saying it is in the Updates page).
