Hello, I am very new to wordpress and x theme. I created a site and entered some content within wordpress, and after a recommendation I decided to install x theme. When I try to edit my content using cornerstone nothing is there. There is no content that shows up, and the editing tools within cornerstone don’t do anything. I can’t do anything while I’m in there. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for asking and apologies for the trouble you are facing.
Am I interpreting correctly that the content was created prior installing X Theme and Cornerstone? If yes, please note that Cornerstone and WordPress content editor are not backward compatible. What I mean is that content created using WordPress page editor is not editable using Cornerstone and vice vera.
You either need to recreate those pages, should you wish to move them to Cornerstone or you can leave existing pages as it is and create new pages using Cornerstone.

Thanks for the quick reply! I described that issue incorrectly in the initial question, my apologies. The post content was created after x theme was installed. I think I discovered how to get my content to show now but this brings up another question. I would like to add an image to the post carousel box but can’t seem to find a way to do that. There is no way on my end to edit that box or insert an image, it’s just blank, with no tools for editing. Thanks again!
Hi there,
The items that are showing on the Carousel and Slider are posts. So in order to set an image for those posts, you will have to edit the posts and set a Featured Image to the post and the image should get displayed on the carousel and slider.
