We updated to the latest version of conerstone today, and now we cannot add new content. None of the blocks, sections, etc. are working. New and classic. Please help.

Let’s do some basic troubleshooting first

Clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugins and other optimization plugins. Skip this if you don’t have caching plugin.

If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services. No need to worry about this step too if you don’t have CDN.

Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Remove custom CSS, Javascript and templates.
If the issue persists, please check content of error log. Let’s see if there is some substantial information in there. Provide site URL and credentials too on a secure note so we can check further.

Please update X to version 5.2.3 and Cornerstone to version 2.1.4.

Hello - We are still having the same issue. Blocks are not visible in web view. Everything has been updated.

We have two text blocks and and image element, but again, nothing is displaying.
I had a similar issue although my content did show up on the live page - it was just not visible in Cornerstone (page was completely blank). I had to refresh each page (Firefox) while editing in Cornerstone to get the content to show again. On some pages, I had to refresh 3 or 4 times but it ended up fixing the issue for all of them. Hope that helps.
I tried that…still no go. This all happened after the update. Something still isn’t fixed. Tried all browsers, turned off plugin’s tried different page attributes, and still the same issue.
Please help.
This site is on our staging environment…I will make sure everything is white-listed.
Confirmed…no console issues.
We are still looking for a fix on this. FYI - we updated another site, and are experiencing the same issues. We can update elements that were there prior to the update, but adding new elements post update will not display.

I have checked your site and Cornerstone is update to the latest version but X is not.
Kindly make sure that everything is up to date.

@Jade Thank you, this seemed to have fixed it. I was under the assumption that the theme would update automatically.

You will have to update the theme in the dashboard because automatic update means being able to update the theme on the dashboard in a click.
