Cornerstone not updating new envira galleries

Now when I create new galleries cornerstone does not display their names in envira gallery classic element, i can select it by selecting the right empty space (no name diplayed for new galleries) in the list. Old ones are still showing

I have:

  • X (not pro) version 5.1.1
  • Cornerstone 3.0.4
  • Envira Gallery 1.8.2.1

Thanks for your quick answer,
If i do that, all my custom css will be obsolete and I will have to modify all my page again, because I had to change a lot of thigs to make the theme look like what I needed.
Isn’t there any way to fix this without updating the theme?

Hi There,

Where did you place your custom CSS? If you put them under Theme Options > CSS, it would be safe when you update the X theme.

In a X child theme. And yes It will remain safe but the Theme itself has changed, I tried to upgrade once and all The front page was modified (as I had previously to modifie some native éléments from X theme with CSS as header, logo, container and menu for exemple)

HI There,

Its always advisable to use child theme for . custom code and theme option -> global CSS for any custom CSS.
Because its always comparable issue with new version of plugins and old version theme, that why we always update theme when plugin is update.

I would like to suggest you to please transfer all the custom code to a child theme and CSS to global CSS then update your theme.it may resolved your issue. If that doesn’t help please send us your login and FTP details so that we can check the issue.
