Cornerstone not showing changes I make, or saving them

see this page: https://staging-logoglo-newsite.kinsta.cloud/

When I edit text, or elements etc, it doesn’t show in real time, I have to make the change, save, and refresh:

Its really evident on the above site, I have to refresh every time I make a change in order to see it.

It happens on other sites im working but not as much. So after a while of working on a page, it starts doing the same. These other sites are hosted with different hosts. I have tested with all caching plugins disabled etc…but it still happens.

**Update. Managed to capture it happening on another site: https://livingplaya.com.mx/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/slow3.webm

Any ideas?

Hi Oriol,

Thanks for reaching out.
I would suggest you please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

Added to secure form.

Hello @oriol,

I have logged in and tested Cornerstone on one of your pages. I can see the changes but not right away. There is a slight delay.

We would recommend that you temporarily deactivate your plugins one at a time or check out if there is a custom JS coding that may be preventing or hogging up browser resources. Did you add a video on the page? There is a known issue in the latest release that is related to Video elements in the latest release.

Best Regards.

I do have a video up at the header yes. I tested with all plugins disabled etc, no caching etc etc, but yeah, its still very slow.

Hi Oriol,

In that case, the Video might be the reason behind your problem. To be sure about it, I would request you duplicate the page and remove the video from it to check. If that resolves your problem, video might be the reason. If not, there might be some other reasons which need to be investigated further.

Thanks

That did the trick, I deleted the video, and it was saving better…However, on the other site I mentioned, there is no video…granted, the issue isn’t present at 1st, but as you work on the page, it slows down more and more.

Hi Oriol,

Can you please share the credential of the other site where you are having the same issue without video?

Thanks

Creds in secure note…this is the site its being slow on too:

Hi Oriol,

I have created a test page and tested the way shown in your video. It takes sometime to change, but it is not that much of slow as shown in the video. I am not sure if that is happening only on that page, if that is the case, please check once if any background process or any 3rd party code is delaying the output to show.

Thanks

AS I explained, its not at first, when you first load a page, or create a new one, it works fine…but after time, it slows down…

Pro 6.3 is going to have some changes relating to the React 18 additions WordPress 6.2 introduces. We’ll see the App speed up a little there and we’ll continue to speed up things on the frontend and app throughout the year. Thanks for bringing this up and let us know if you see improvements then!

Sounds like a plan  thanks!
