Cornerstone not loading - spinning

Hey there,

we have a problem on our site https://funeralplanning.ch/, Cornerstone is not loading (endless spinning). We are on the latest X and Cornerstone Update and on Wordpress 5.3. Already done without fixing the problem:

  • Deactivating all Plugins
  • Reinstall Cornerstone
  • Clear Cache

Can anybody help?

Thank you for the detailed post and we are sorry you’re having this issue. See the root cause of the issue below:

Unfortunately, there is a confirm conflict between Polylang and Cornerstone. It is still under investigation. We cannot provide an ETA when this will be covered for a release update but rest assured that this is already in our issue tracker.

WPML has an official article about the Polylang to WPML migration which you can find here. We can’t give you a recommendation on which system to use but WPML is officially supported meaning that if you are facing issues you can receive support from us which might be an advantage in the future.

Thanks for your fast reply! Just wondering - it was working fine till now. Any clew why it has just stopped to work right now?

Hi Pierre,

Regretfully, we haven’t found the exact cause yet but it’s highly likely due to conflict with not only Cornerstone and Polylang but also the environment setup.

For now, please revert to a previous backup or working state of your site.

Or you can deactivate Polylang when you edit a page and enable it back after.
