Cornerstone not activating or logs me out

Cornerstone is suddenly not working. I have searched forum topics and tried the listed solutions. Nothing seems to work. Right now it will not activate. In the past when I was able to activate it, it would log me out every time I attempted to use it on a page. I am now getting this error:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare cs_generate_data_attributes() (previously declared in /home1/lifesch3/public_html/experiusacademy/wp-content/plugins/tco-video-lock/functions/includes/cs/helpers.php:4) in /home1/lifesch3/public_html/experiusacademy/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/includes/utility/helpers.php on line 179
Please help…

Still patti60. I’ve tried everything I understand how to do and I am still either getting kicked out, or Cornerstone won’t activate. Now my site is completely down and it’s student registration time here at our school. Please help!

Hi @patti60,

Thank you for writing, please reinstall the Cornerstone, to do this in an easy way, navigate to plugins panel, deactivate and delete the Cornerstone, after that navigate to X > Validation, wait for a few seconds and X will automatically reinstall the Cornerstone for you.

Then update all your X extensions, especially the Video Lock extension since that is the subject on the error you show.

To update the Extensions to the version that is supported by the theme:

- Ensure your theme is validated so Extensions can be installed automatically
- Deactivate and delete the extensions, from the plugins panel.
- On the X > Validation > Extensions locate and install the extensions that you need.
- Visit "Plugins" panel in your Dashboard to activate the newly installed version.

Because all of the plugin settings are stored in the database, and because version 2.x will migrate settings from older versions, its safe to use this method of deleting the previous version. But always keep a backup of your entire site just to be safe.

I deleted cornerstone and reinstalled it. It seems to work.
