Cornerstone not activated

Hi
Cornerstone is not active and when I click on activate I keep getting the following error
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Cornerstone_Plugin_Base in /home/altaraso/public_html/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/includes/utility/plugin-base.php on line 6

Hi Fawzi,

Thank you for reaching out to us. Cornerstone is the “Content builder” in Pro and powers part of the underlying architecture this means you don’t need to activate Cornerstone when using Pro as it already comes native to Pro and having it active will cause an error so you can safely delete the Cornerstone plugin.

I have another question , how can I import demos sites to pro ? or it is available only to x theme ?

Hey Fawzi,

Demos and Expanded demos are only compatible with X and not Pro, Pro uses an entirely new templating system, the current demos were built specifically for X before the introduction of the header and footer builders.

Pro has its own Design Cloud where you can pick page and element designs. For more details, please see https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/template-manager/2036418

If you need an X demo, what other users do is they install and activate X, import a demo and then switch back to Pro. This is not something that we support but this is currently possible.

Hello @mariocax,

Please navigate to Plugins panel, deactivate and delete your current Cornerstone version. Then navigate to X > Overview from there X should automatically re-install the right version of Cornerstone. Then navigate back to Plugins panel to activate it.

About this error:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare cs_generate_data_attributes() (previously declared in /home/altaraso/public_html/wp-content/plugins/tco-video-lock/functions/includes/cs/helpers.php:4) in /home/altaraso/public_html/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/includes/utility/helpers.php on line 181
That error is might be caused by an old version of Video Lock extension if you have one. Please try to deactivate and delete all your X Extensions, and re-install them from X > Overview > Extension (install only the extension that you need).

Hey Fawzi,

Our theme doesn’t currently have social sharing feature per post. It might be possible in the future but for now, you need to use third-party social sharing plugins.
