Cornerstone not able to edit Home Page

It’s a new Install, no third party plugins, PHP 7.4 installed.
Wordpress Version 5.9.3
X Theme Version 9.1.4
Cornerstone Version 6.1.4

It was working and now it’s been showing the loading Icon indefinitely while attempting to edit the homepage.
Other pages are still able to be edited.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello @davidcastrejon,

Thanks for sharing the login details, it seems that you have not given the administrator privilege to this user account. I would suggest you please provide the admin privilege to this user account so that we can check it at our end.

Thanks

@prakash_s Apologies updated the privileges to admin.

Hi @davidcastrejon,

I have checked your website and found the issue you described here. The problem you are having might be due to the improper update of the X theme and Cornerstone plugin, I would suggest you follow the below steps to troubleshoot.

  1. Delete the Cornerstone
  2. After deletion please use the link in the dashboard to automatically install the Cornerstone.

After you update it, I would still suggest you check once by clearing all types of cache including the Style Cache from Cornerstone > Settings > System > Clear Style Cache and check in the incognito/private mode of the browser.

If that does not help, please copy your live site to a staging server so we could troubleshoot freely without breaking your live site.
And give us access in the secure note including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

@tristup

I have already followed those directions. I did them again just now.

I have provided the login in a secure note in my first message.

Please troubleshoot the live site, it doesn’t matter if you break it.

Hi @davidcastrejon,

I have duplicated the Home Page and the problem persists. As the problem is only with the Home Page only, it seems that the content of the page is somehow corrupted and that is why it is not loading in the Page Builder. If you have any backup of your website, I would suggest you please try once by restoring it. If that does not work, you may need to recreate it from the scratch.

Thanks
