Cornerstone - “No suitable preview area found.."

I created a new subsite under our network, activated theme pro and created a few page.
Whenever I create a new page I get the error "Cornerstone Error “No Suitable Preview Area Found…”

if I use “plain” for the permalink, the page will load fine:
https://games.specialolympicsontario.com/hometown-games?page_id=19

However, if I use custom permalink, this is what I get:
https://games.specialolympicsontario.com/hometown-games/test

Hey @jamesnoronha,

There could be a plugin or custom code that affects the preview mode.

I recommend the following troubleshooting procedures before we investigate the settings.

  1. TESTING FOR THEME RELATED ISSUE
  2. TESTING FOR PLUGIN CONFLICT
  3. THEME UPDATE
  4. CHILD THEME
  5. CSS/JS CUSTOMIZATION
  6. VERSION COMPATIBILITY

Hope that helps and let us know how it goes.

Hi,
Thank you for your reply.
I went and followed all your suggestions. I faced some limitation with the second point because this is a subsite of a multisite network that contains live sites which relies so much on some of the plugins. However, this subsite was just created and contains no data and there is no plugins that are specially installed for it. Moreover, all the plugins we have on the NW level do not cause the same issue (with “postname” permalink) in any of the sites.
Unfortunately, the issue with the subsite still persists and we are not sure how to approach it.

Hi @jamesnoronha,

I have checked your website and found that all the pages and posts are showing the 404 error if the permalink is set to the %postname%. It seems that it might be a problem with your .htaccess file which may not be overridden, I would suggest you contact your Hosting Service provider on this.

Hope it helps.
Thanks
