Cornerstone no longer works :(

Good morning, everyone,

I have a problem with Cornerstone which remains in charge indefinitely when I want to edit a page or header… :’(

I recently wanted to try Cloudflare’s services and changed some parameters. Not being satisfied, I reset my settings by default and disabled Cloudflare.

I also changed my site from http:// to https://…

I have cleaned my browser’s cache several times but nothing works. I also reset the default DNS rules to disable Cloudflare services.

I don’t know if these elements could have interfered with Cornerstone, but I’m afraid so… :confused:

Do you have a solution, please?

Hi Jaadra, I have just had a similar issue -perhaps? You will need to be more specific, i.e are you using pro? What exactly is not working, for example, the css seems disabled, all text is in times roman etc.

Yes, I use PRO, I have a license.

It is the front-end editor that does not allow me to view the pages or header/footer to modify them.

The logo continues to move but nothing appears in the preview window.

Hi Richard,

Thank you for writing in, I investigated the issue and found out its the Optimize JavaScript code feature of Autoptimize is causing the issue. I did deactivate that now and the Cornerstone is working fine again. It’s not necessary an issue with the Theme, but it could be a conflict with your other plugin.

You can do testing for a plugin conflict to see what plugin is causing the issue. You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
