Good morning,
I made a site in a hidden folder (/wp) on the server. https://www.chaletsmontauban.com/wp. When I wanted to put it online as usual I transferred the index.php to the root of the server and changed the Address of the wordpress in the php file. Then, in the settings I changed the URL of the site to https://www.chaletsmontauban.com/. Everything works great except that if I go back to cornerstone he finds that it doesn’t work anymore?? I’ve always done that for my many sites without any problem but here I don’t understand. Can you help me ?
Can you try going to Permalink, and saving settings there again?
Hi @zipe3,
Thanks for reaching out.
The Settings > General > WordPress Address (URL) and the Settings > General > Site Address should be the same. I have added the wp to the Site Address and now the Cornerstone is working fine.
Thanks
require DIR . ‘/wp/wp-blog-header.php’;
All my sites are made this way and I have no problem with cornerstone?? biz. Could it have something to do with permalinks?
oups !! Hello, in fact, I want the site to be on the .com without the /wp but the wordpress on the server is in a wp folder. There is just the index.php which is at the root of the site and I modified this line in /** Loads the WordPress Environment and Template */
require DIR . ‘/wp/wp-blog-header.php’;
Hi @zipe3,
In that case, the following values need to be the same Settings > General > WordPress Address (URL), the Settings > General > Site Address, and also match with the Location URL mentioned in your Themeco Account.
Thanks
