Cornerstone menu does not appear

After updating to the latest X and Cornerstone versions, the editing menu (wilt Layout, elements, etc) doesn’t pop up.

Hello @frankmoester,

Thanks for asking and sorry for the trouble you are facing.

Can you please try manually updating Cornerstone? To do that please login to FTP and under plugins directory kindly rename existing Cornerstone folder and then create a new folder for Cornerstone. After that upload the Cornerstone files. After that kindly open your website and see if that works.

Also please get in touch with you hosting provider and as suggested by WordPress community kindly make sure that you are running Php version 7.

Let us kow how it goes.

Thanks.

Hello,

Where can I find the Cornerstone plugin files? I don’t see it in the x_package…

Hi there,

Please find the file in the Secure Note attached to this message.

Sorry, that didn’t help either. See image for how my screen (still) looks when I choose to edit with Cornerstone

Hey,

Can you provide to us your WP credentials in a secure note? This way we can check this issue better and see if there are any plugin conflicting.

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in.

Please grant admin access or provide a login with admin capability. I can’t access your builder with the provided credentials.

Thanks!

Hi there,

Sorry for my late reply. I’ve adjusted your role to admin.
Could you please try again?

Thanks!

Hi There,

Upon checking your site, it seems that your server is down. Could you please check with your hosting provider first to resolve this issue.

Thanks!

Hi there, the site is up.

Hi there,

You were using an old version fo our theme. I updated the theme to version 5.2.2 and Cornerstone to version 2.1.3. Also, I disabled the JetPack plugin.

Our theme does minify the CSS/JS assets and usage of the plugins that minify those assets will have problems.

Then I checked one of your published pages and it is working for me:

But it took forever for me to load the builder. This shows that your hosting is very slow and that might be caused by the low PHP memory limit. Kindly contact your hosting service provider and ask them to increase the PHP memory limit. Formore information:

Also kindly, ask them for the ways to make their server performance better.

Thank you.
