Hi @plumpkinn,

Can you please make sure that you are using the latest version of Pro? If not, please update it to its latest version and check if that resolves your problem. If not, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

thanks, added a secure note

Hi @plumpkinn - If you are able to figure this out, can you share the solution with me? We seem to be having the same issue.

Hello @plumpkinn,

I have logged in and I was able to replicate the issue. This does not occur in our local testing servers. This can be caused by 3rd party plugins installed in your site or something else. Please do the following:

If the above does not help, kindly clone your site to a staging site and give us the WP Access so that we can investigate this issue further in your staging site. Kindly check out this documentation if you haven’t cloned or created a staging site yet:

Best Regards.

Alright, I think it was a cloudflare caching issue. I’ve set the cloudflare settings into the dev mode and now it works again. Very strange, especially I didn’t touch the settings in any way.

Any recommendet settings for using Pro and Cloudflare (or another CDN)?

Thanks
Regards

PS.: @jrhendricks hope this helps?

Hi @plumpkinn,

Glad to know that you are able to fix the problem. It seems that Cloudflare might be holding the older cache which was the reason, setting it in the dev mode cleared the cache and it start working.

Thanks

@plumpkinn - Thanks so much for this hint - the problem certainly seems to be due to Cloudflare on our end as well. I really appreciate you following up about this - thank you!!

Hi @tristup We did the Cloudflare cache bypass trick in dev mode and it did fix things for a very short amount of time. However, the dev bypass then reset automatically and all of the problems immediately came back. Do you have any suggestions for next steps?

Hello @jrhendricks,

Cloudflare and other 3rd party optimizing plugins are best to turn ON when you are done building the site and ready to make the site live. We do not recommend using any of these plugins or features if you are still editing or making your site changes. When you want to edit something, you will have to temporarily deactivate those plugins like the Cloudflare bypass trick.

Best Regards.
