Cornerstone loading takes minutes to complete

Hi,

Editing a page with cornerstone takes minutes to load the cornerstone editor.
I have increased the WP memory in WP-config but no luck.
The waterfall in chrome tools shows cornerstone endpoint loading taking 2 minutes or so.
i am running WP 4.9
X 5.2.5
cornerstone 2.1.7

all latest versions no plugins other then Cornerstone

Any suggestions please?

Sorry for the late reply.
thanks for checking into my problem.
Why is only the cornerstone editor extremely slow and WP and the site are pretty much ok.

Hi There,

I have checked your server configurations which seems to be alright.

PHP v7.1.11
PHP Max Script Execute Time 120s
PHP Memory Limit 512 MiB

If you’re on a shared hosting environment, usually there will be a slowness due to server load. To prove that, please try replicating your setup on a different host. You can setup a free test site at Pantheon.io. You can use your dev license for the test.
