Cornerstone Issues - No Suitable Preview

Hi,

I’m currently having an issue with Cornerstone. Whenever I try to edit a page on my website through Cornerstone, I get the following message “No suitable preview area found,” and it says “The Blog” at the top of every page.

These are actual pages and NOT blog or portfolio pages. I have been able to edit them perfectly fine with Cornerstone in the past. I already updated both the theme and Cornerstone, I’ve checked for third-party plugin conflicts, and I’ve cleared the cache with no luck.

Any suggestions? Are you able to log in and check it out for me if I provide the login credentials?

Any help is greatly appreciated because I am not able to edit any page currently.

Thanks

Hi @patmendezstrength,

Thanks for reaching out.
Can you please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

Hey Tristup,

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I added the login information to the secure note on the initial post.

Thanks again,

Zack

Hey @patmendezstrength,

Thanks for providing your credentials! I troubleshoot your website and I found out that one of your plugins is causing the issue. That being said, I suggest that you deactivate all your plugins except Cornerstone then activate it one by one to find the culprit.

Hope that helps.

Hey Marc,

Thanks for getting back to me and looking into my website issues. I will begin deactivating each plugin to see which one is causing the problem. You said that you found one of the plugins is causing the issue. Do you know which one?

Thanks,

Zack

Hi Zack,

I am not quite sure which plugin is causing the issue on your website. I just tried to deactivate all your plugins except for Cornerstone for about 1-2 minutes then the Cornerstone builder was working without any issue and that’s the reason for my conclusion.

Thank you.

I can confirm this, also with beta3. For me deaktivating “Yoast SEO” fixes it.

WP: 5.9.2 | Yoast SEO: Version 18.3

Best regards

Uli

Hey Uli,

I have WP 5.9.2 and Yoast SEO version 18.3 on my install but I am not able to replicate the issue on my development website. There could be another plugin conflict on your website, I suggest that enable just Cornerstone and Yoast SEO then let’s see if the issue still occurs on your website.

Thank you and let us know how it goes.
