This is a similar issue to https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/yoast-not-reading-content-in-new-cornestone-elements/15902, which I believe is already noted in your issue tracker.
The same issue with new Cornerstone Elements content not being recognised by Yoast is also not being picked up in Search results.
Do you have any update on the resolution of this issue?

Thank for writing in! The Search results and all archive pages will be using the post excerpts to display a text on the page. Excerpts were dynamically generated from the very first 55 words of the post by default. When the post content is wrapped with a shortcode like the Cornerstone formatting shortcodes, no excerpts will be generated. To resolve this issue, you must insert a manual excerpts instead. Manual Excerpts are optional hand-crafted summaries of your content that can be used in your theme. Learn more about manual excerpts here.
