Cornerstone is giving a Fatal Error message

Hello, Im trying to restore a website that I built in X a few years ago. I uploaded the backup but the site is giving me a fatal error message every time that I try to activate Cornerstone, which the website was built on. Here is the error!

Hi @IRGmarketing,

Thanks for reaching out.
I have tried to check your issue through Admin Dashboard but unfortunately, the given credentials do not work. Before you provide the correct credentials, I would like to suggest troubleshooting the following common issue to help us to recognize the reason.

1.Theme Related Issue
2.Plugin Conflict
3.Theme Update related issue
4.Child Theme Related issue
5.CSS/JS Customization
6.Disabling Cache
7.Disabling CDN

The PHP version might be one of the reasons behind your issue, I would request you to check the supported version of PHP from our version compatibility page. I would also suggest you check Tools > Site Health and solve all the critical issue(s) if found.

Thanks

I upgraded the PHP, but still having issues with CS & Rev.

Here are the working credentials.

Hello @IRGmarketing,

It seems that it is an issue of version compatibility issue since you are using the X theme version 9.1.4 and Cornerstone 5.1.5. I would suggest you please update the plugin then activate it as per our version compatibility page, if it doesn’t work for you please share FTP details in the secure note.

I noticed that you have multiple X themes uploaded I would suggest you please remove the extra theme

Thanks

I can’t get CS to update. FTP info attached.

Hi @IRGmarketing,

I have checked your website and found the issue you described here. If this is not your staging site, please copy your live site to a staging server so we could troubleshoot freely without breaking your live site.
And give us access in the secure note including:

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

Here are all of my credintials so that you can assist in trouble shooting. The URL is temp/staging. Thanks!!!

Hello @IRGmarketing,

Thanks for sharing the login details, I went ahead and follow the below steps to troubleshoot.

  1. Deleted the Cornerstone plugin
  2. After deletion used the link in the dashboard to automatically install the Cornerstone.

I installed the 6.1.4 version Cornerstone plugin. Please have a look at your site

Thanks

Wow, thanks. No more errors. The only issue that I need to figure out is when I changed the theme to the child, I don’t see the website that I built, only the default. Any ideas?

Hello @IRGmarketing,

It seems that you have created the child theme from the plugin I would suggest you delete the child theme and download the child theme from here

Please note if you have not customized the child theme then you can delete the child theme and install the child theme that you download from our end.

Please remember we don’t provide customized child theme support. It is out of the support scope.

Thanks for understanding.
