Cornerstone is Crashing my Site

Hi support, I have recently updated my website to the latest version of Cornerstone and X (not Pro) and receive the following error.

Warning: require_once(/home/bubbuhco/public_html/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/includes/classes/styling/class-font-manager.php): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/bubbuhco/public_html/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/includes/cornerstone-plugin.php on line 105

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/home/bubbuhco/public_html/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/includes/classes/styling/class-font-manager.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/cpanel/ea-php70/root/usr/share/pear’) in /home/bubbuhco/public_html/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/includes/cornerstone-plugin.php on line 105

I have tried to remove Cornerstone and reactivate but the error remains. I have seen other posts related to this problem but they offer no solution.

Thanks for writing in! According to your error messages, most probably you may have corrupted or missing files in Cornerstone plugin folder (/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/) or it could be related to a permission issue as well.

Could you please try deleting your Cornerstone plugin and then re-install it by head over to X -> Validation section (wait for few seconds to automatically install the latest version).

If that doesn’t help, please provide us with your WordPress credentials along with your FTP credentials in a secure note to look into it.
