Cornerstone Inoperable After Recent Update

I have updated the theme, cornerstone itself. Made sure the php memory limits were increased, i have no cache plugins running…not using a CDN…turned off all plugins, made no difference. It won’t edit the pages created by Cornerstone, and I can’t create new pages. Cornerstone will launch…but just spin when i try to add an element…or give me the preview error.

I was using this program without issue for months…this is just happening recently with the only change being the update of the theme and plugin. PLEASE Help me get this resolved. Thanks.

Hi @clmurray1969,

Thanks for reaching out.

You’re right, there is no cache and CDN. And given that you already applied the increased limit and some troubleshooting, would it be okay if you’ll provide your admin and FTP login credentials in a secure note? So we could test it directly

Thanks.

I messaged you the info Rad. Thanks.

Hi again,

It looks like you have sent the info in a direct message to my colleague. Can you please share the info here in a Secure Note so it’s visible to all of our staff. In the meantime make sure your WordPress and PHP version is also up-to date. We’ve observed this happening due to the outdated version of WordPress installation.

Thanks!

Sorry…is this the secure note? And my PHP is at 5.6…and wordpress is up to date.

Hi clmurray1969,

Thank you for the Secure Note and the login information. And yes you guessed correctly and add the information in the Secure Note.

I went to your website and added a test page and for testing purposes added an Alert element. Everything worked with no problem and here is the result:

I used the Google Chrome browser’s latest version. Please clear your browser cache or use Chrome to test the case. If you have problems please get back to us specifically about the page you have the problem. Also, screenshots can help identify the problem.

Please read this article to know how to upload screenshots to this post.

Thank you.

So its not a problem with the setup, it was browser compatibility? Chrome seems to be working.

Hi there,

That is the most probable cause of the issue.

You could either use Chrome or make sure that you have fully cleared your browser cache and that you are using the latest version of it.

Hope this helps
