Cornerstone Getting "Oops" page

Hi,

I’m having an issue on one of my sites after updating - where it won’t open and instead goes to the ‘oops page not found’ error page.

I’ve deleted and reinstalled Cornerstone, changed and reset Permalink settings, and cleared the cache. None of those appear to work.

Thank you

Hello @Web_Creations,

Thanks for writing to us.

I checked your site, it seems that the frontend is loading fine on my end. I would suggest you please clear your browser cache and recheck it again. In case you are pointing out that the backend page builder is not loading, I would suggest you troubleshoot with a few of the common issues before we investigate your settings.

If it doesn’t work for you, please share your details in a secure note. Please provide the following details

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin-level username and password

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts

Thanks

Thanks, it looks like the issue is with WP Job Manager. I have no idea why that would be the case, but I’ve left it deactivated for now.

I’ve just posted on their support forum for help as well. Any ideas why this conflict might be?

Hello Spencer,

Could you please go to Settings > Permalinks and update it? Hitting the Save button even without making any changes to the current setting might help. You can also check out the documentation to troubleshoot the most common issue:

Best Regards.

Thanks. I’ve found out that the issue seems to appear whenever both WP Job Manager and Event Espresso are active. If either one is deactivated then the issue doesn’t occur. I think the issue may be related to Event Espresso then.

None of the other fixes have worked. I’ve reached out to Event Espresso itself, which may help. I’ll make another reply shortly with a secure note for access.

Okay, I’ve added the secure note.

Hello Spencer,

I have logged in to the site and investigated your issue. I can confirm that the WP JobManager plugin is causing the issue. I am not sure why this is happening. My guess is that the plugin is tweaking the permalink which affects the Cornerstone thus giving us the Error 404 issue. I will forward this to our developers so that they can have a deeper look into this issue.

Please bear with us.
