Cornerstone forms 'protected ids'?

We had a contact form and for the name field had ‘name’ as the ID and the form didn’t work. Removing that id (well, changing it to yourname) made it work.

I remember reading something a while back about protected ids in dynamic content - is this something similar?

And if so, can an alert be built in? Spent ages figuring it out!

I got caught by that - apparently ‘name’ is reserved for Wordpress. I agree this should be prevented by the plugin.

We are going to try and support those names and update Cornerstone Forms. If it’s not possible we will be giving a warning in the editor. Have a great day.
