Hi There,
I have tried to follow a few threads regarding a fatal error when upgrading Cornerstone, but have had no success.
I am currently running php7.4, have updated Wordpress etc etc, but still no luck.
In desperate need for some help
Thank you
Ok Sorry, i just worked out the issue and hopefully this may help someone else.
I noticed my .htaccess file had these lines:
# php – BEGIN cPanel-generated handler, do not edit
# Set the “ea-php70” package as the default “PHP” programming language.
#[IfModule mime_module]
# AddHandler application/x-httpd-ea-php70 .php .php7 .phtml
#[/IfModule]
As you can see i commented them out, updated my php at cpanel level at WOW it worked…
Phew!!!
Hi @shuttom,
Thanks for reaching out!
The code in your .htaccess forcing your PHP version set to 7.0 which is the reason why there’s an error with cornerstone plugin when you activated it but we’re glad that you’re able to figure it out. If you have any other concerns or clarifications regarding our theme features, feel free to open up a new thread.
Thank you.
