Cornerstone Error - "Installation failed: Installation package not available."

Hi,

I upgraded to Pro. Then I received an error regarding the Cornerstone plugin. Upon trying to re-install the plugin, the error message said “Installation failed: Installation package not available.”

I know it is said that I do not need Cornerstone if I have pro but I am looking to put an image overlay on my background image as shown here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Baf5yQuSyE4) which is done via Cornerstone options.

Note: I checked and the (‘public_html/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/’) does not exist anymore so I cannot delete it (as suggested in other similar posts).

I can’t get to those options now. Please advise on how to fix this and ensure I can put the overlay background image in place.

Thanks,
JB

Hi JB,

Thank you for writing in, to be clear the PRO’s built-in Content Builder works the same way as X’s Cornerstone, so you do not need to install the Cornerstone.

If you only see a few options on an element inspector than what you expect, please enable the Advance Mode

Check this post, it might give you an idea how to do a background-image + background-color overlay.

Cheers!
