Cornerstone elements tab redirects back to the page

I am trying to edit home page with cornerstone, in edit mode when I click on elements tab it redirects me back to page where I started from ,

Have updated cornerstone to latest version but no luck .

Hi,

Please try to reset your Permalinks settings.

Go to Settings > Permalinks then set it to anything other than Plain

Save the settings twice then go back to Cornerstone then try the elements again.
