Cornerstone elements missing after import

Hi,

I imported the finished template and the element for each page is missing. The page imported.

Please advise.

Hey Tess,

There could be some corruption within the element that is missing like an invalid character. Please give us the following information in a Secure Note so we could check.

  • Name of the template
  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin username and password

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts.

Hello Tess,

It seems that you have used the default WordPress export/import option to import the site. Please note that the default WordPress export/import does not include the Cornerstone elements. You need to follow the migration guide to export/import the site.

This is not going to work for me since I only want to import the template only. I am trying to merge it into the old site.

Is there a way to do just that?

Hello @segreenhouse,

We have not tested other plugins at our end so we can not recommend any other plugin for import/export the templates only.
