Cornerstone edits not showing up in different sized pages OR outside of Cornerstone at all

I know I’m gonna get this question so let me start by saying my theme is updated to the current version lol, I made to check other similar posts before I made this one.

I’ve been trying to redesign the site from a past demo I started with and I’ve come across this weird problem:

I’m editing the homepage in Cornerstone, but any time I change the screen resolution WITHIN CORNERSTONE (or if I just hide the menu even) my edits disappear and the page defaults back to the “lorem epsom” text etc. If I exit cornerstone the same thing happens–it defaults back to the initial demo page, ignoring all of my edits…

Any help with this would be great.

Thanks for writing in!

Please note that the demo has sections/rows that are visible in desktop and hidden in mobile or visible in mobile and hidden in desktop.

You can check these, by clicking on mobile icon and changing screen resolution.

Under each resolution, select a section or row then check visibility under customize tab.
