Cornerstone editor Slow and buggy

I have the latest version of X and Cornerstone , PHP 7.1 (cannot upgrade to higher version of PHP without crashing the site)

I have to click 4-5 times on panes or button to make something happen. This makes editing painfully slow.

Any suggestion?

Hey @Warlaumont,

I’m using PHP 7.4 in my test sites and none of them has an issue with the latest X/Cornerstone and Pro versions.

This boils down to specific server settings by the web host. With that said, it is the web host that should troubleshoot the error being generated as they have complete control over the server.

Regarding the clicking problem, would you mind recording a video of what you’re experiencing. We’ll try to replicate it on our end. Please also give us the following info so we could see the difference in your site.

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin username and password

I took at .mov screen shot but all I get is : Sorry, the file you are trying to upload is not authorized (authorized extensions: jpg, jpeg, png, gif). I was able to upgrade to PHP 7.4 but that didn’t seem to help

Hello @Warlaumont,

I checked your site it seems that page builder is working fine and saving as well. I checked with one “.mov” file and uploaded in your media and it is working fine.

It’s not what I meant about the media file, I mean the one I tried to send you here in this thread when I recorded my screen to show the issue , your forum system is only allowing to upload images. Also I never complained about being able to save. thank for looking into it

Please upload your video in 3rd party video sharing sites like Youtube. You can then share the video link to us.
