Cornerstone Editor/Inspector going blank

Hi,

The sidebar for cornerstone that contains the editor and the inspector loads for each page, but when I go to edit an element it goes blank. I reload the page and it comes back, but when I try to edit it goes blank again. I’ve restarted the browser, the computer, deactivated plugins… but it’s still happening.

I did some searching and I’ve seen others reporting this. A couple additions to help:
-using chrome on a Mac.
-everything is update.
-happens on the Home page.
-cleared cache already.
-happens after you start editing. The editor loads, I’ll click on a button element and then when I try to select CUSTOMIZE in the editor - it goes blank. It’s happened a couple dozen times. (As I’ve tried everything)
-turned off all plugins (except cornertsone.)

Any thoughts?

Hi PJ,

Please go to WP Admin > Settings > Permalinks and check if the permalink setting that is currently active has index.php in it. If it does, try removing it and check again in Cornerstone.

Kindly also double check if you are using the latest version of X and Cornerstone.

everything is up to date and the permalink setting was fine. I sent you a secure note.

Strange - me either. For two days I could not edit the website and now the problem is not happening. It was not working on three different machine and two browser. I’ll let you know if starts acting up again.

It’s happening again. Whenever I try to work with the customization of the buttons on the home page, the inspector goes blanks. I have to reload the page to get it back, but once I start working with the buttons again, it goes blank.

Hello @PJ1,

Which browser are you using? Please switch to Chrome or Firefox. Make sure that you are using the latest and that there is no browser plugin that interferes the Cornerstone editor preview.
