Cornerstone duplicate page Error

We are using your themeco pro builder for our site.

Recently we updated themeco, then we found you moved the editor pro option into cornerstone.

Issue we are facing now is that we can’t duplicate the page which was created before the theme update, it showed some error, I’ll attach a screenshot of that.

I tried Yoast Duplicate Post and Duplicate Page plugins for page duplication

Please advise

Hi Paul,

Thank you for writing in, please do the following first.

  • Ensure that you are fully up to date. WordPress, Theme, and Cornerstone (Version Compatibility)

  • Clear all the site caches (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors. While you’re at it, please deactivate this caching feature while we tackle this issue.

  • Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

And I want to let you know that Cornerstone has a native page cloning feature, so you might not need those extra plugins.

Cheers!

Because we will create many pages in staging after finalize we need to create again same pages in production also its there any way to export pages from staging and import into production ?

Hi Paul,

You can import the page from your staging to your live server by following the below steps.

  1. Save the Page using the Save Template option.

Screenshot-710-

  1. Get the saved Template in Template Manager, and download it by clicking on the Download button.

  1. Now you need to import the downloaded .tco file into your live server by clicking the Import button available in Template Manager.

Hope it helps.
Thanks

We are delighted to assist you with this.

Is there a way to mass-export pages? I have a big site change coming up for a website that has been up for nearly 10 years. I have a lot of pages in cornerstone and I would really like to not have to export each one individually.

Thank you for your help.

Hi @asiostudio,

Thank you for writing in, unfortunately, there are no mass-export pages feature. What would you do to the exported files? If you trying to keep a backup of the site before you redesign it, then just use your hosting native backup features, or use 3rd party plugins like All-in-One WP Migration or any alike plugin.

Cheers,

This worked exactly as I hoped it would. Thank you so much, you saved me about 2 weeks worth of work.

Hi @asiostudio,

You’re welcome! If you have any other concerns or clarifications regarding our theme features, feel free to open up a new thread.

Thank you.
