Cornerstone doesn't load, just "C" icon. "Iframe response being incomplete"

Hello,

Cornerstone has been working for 1½ years but suddenly now pages don’t open. Only the “C” icon is seen on the content area. After some time a window pops up saying that this is because the “Iframe response being incomplete”. I have not installed any new plugins lately; all plugins, X and Wordpress are updated. And PHP 7 is used. I have tested to inactivate some plugins to see if there is a conflict but no change… (I can’t inactivate all of them since this is a live e-commerce site…). I have no child themes and have cleared cache in both the system and the web browser. And tested with several web browsers…

Could you please login and have a look?

Hi Stefan,

I tried Cornerstone on a few of your pages and it seems to be working fine.

I also tried creating a new page and cornerstone works as well.

Try to clear your browser cache and check again.

Hello again!

This is very strange. I tried for hours with three different browsers. One of them (Firefox) have never even been used on the PC - still I cleared the cache in that browser also when it didn’t work. And still the system was showing me just the icon.
Then you say it works, just like that, and this morning I tried again without clearing cache again or any other adjustments. And yes - it works just fine.

Very strange it didn’t work for hours yesterday. Nothing wrong with my equipment; I have a powerful PC and 100/100M Internet connection so it should not have been because of latency…

Well, thanks again for your quick support anyway!

Hey Stefan,

You’re welcome. It could be server side caching that caused the issue.
