Cornerstone does not load when trying to created a new page

Cornerstone does not load when trying to created a new page, pressing the cornerstone icon top right takes me to red button " edit with cornerstone" … When pressing that, you are taken back to normal editing ?

The latest wordpress, cornerstone plugin are used 20180817

Thanks for writing in!

Before editing with cornerstone please publish the page first, then only you can able to edit it.
Because if you won’t save the page cornerstone can’t get the page slug.

What do you mean publish first ? I did try that and now the Cornerstone logo is stuck pumping… nothing happens…By the way I did not need to save page before using cornerstone. Is that a new behavior ?

To use Cornerstone on pages, you must enter a page title then click on “Save Draft” or “Publish” button as in this video:

If this didn’t work for you, then please provide us with WordPress Dashboard login details in a “Secure Note” so we can investigate this issue.

Thanks for the details.

I was able to login and check your site and Cornerstone does not load because there are some Javascript errors that is stopping it from loading.

You seem to be using an incompatible version of X and Cornerstone which might be the root cause of the issue. You have updated Cornerstone to the latest version but left X not updated. Kindly make sure that you update X to the latest version the clear the site’s cache after updating.

In case the issue persists, please try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Let us know how it goes.

Well, I already tried to disable ALL plugin and update the X theme and cornerstone . . Now it was old because I uploaded a day old backup to be able to run the site at all. Now can not add new pages using cornerstone editorl.

Hi There,

I just cleared the W3 Total Cache and I can now open your pages in Cornerstone without that syntax errors.

Please clear the browser’s cache on your end.
