When trying to use Cornerstone I get a strange page loading.

It might be the issue of version compatibility. I would suggest you please make sure your WordPress core and PHP version are updated as per our version compatibility page.
I would suggest you troubleshoot with a few of the common issues before we investigate your settings.
- Testing For Theme Related Issue
- Testing For Plugin Conflict
- Theme Update
- Child Theme
- Css/Js Customization
- Increasing Php Memory Limit
- Disabling Cache
- Disabling Cdn
- Permalinks
- Version Compatibility
If none of those work, It would be best if you could copying your live website to your staging area. and send your details in a secure note so that we can investigate your setting without breaking your live site. Please provide the following details
- WordPress Login URL [Staging Server]
- Admin level username and password
- FTP Details [Staging Server]

I deactivate and delete the X and re-install it by downloading from your Themeco Account by following the below steps.
- Delete the Cornerstone
- After the X theme deactivated and activated the default WordPress theme and then deleted the X theme and reinstall it, use the link in the dashboard to automatically install the Cornerstone. Now it is working fine at my end please have a look at the screenshot in the secure note.
I would suggest you please clear your browser cache and then check it again or you can check it in the private mode of the browser.
