Cornerstone - Delete

Hello,

I can’t delete any widgets - i also just bought another license because the one that was previously validated on my account i couldnt get a hold of of - is there any way to get someone to log in and help me out with updating my items? It won’t let me validate my code - which i just purchased - and i can’t delete any widgets

Hi There,

You are using a fairly old version of X.

At this time you will need to perform a manual update.

  1. Temporary disable any caching plugins and purge all your server cache.

  2. Delete both X theme (/wp-content/themes/x) and Cornerstone plugin (/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone) by connecting to your FTP (your settings will be saved in the database)

  3. Download the latest copy of X and upload it to your themes folder via FTP OR you can upload the x.zip via Appearance -> Themes section.

  4. Latest version of Cornerstone will be installed automatically when you head over X tab of your dashboard. Now you try validating your X theme again and then try to install any other extension and it should function properly.

Hi - would you be able to do this for me? I believe the license comes witih support for 6 months and i’m worried i will mess this up.

Hi There,

Please backup your website using ALL IN ONE MIGRATION PLUGIN

Access it via FTP, remove X folder from wo-content/themes

Remove Cornerstone from wp-content/plugins

Download the latest version of X , access your site via wp admin dashboard > themes > Install theme.

Follow the other steps, it is quite simple process, few things can change since it is a big version jump, but everything should be fine and your site will be backed up anyway,

Hello,

I am having trouble with the FTP - please - would you be able to login in as me and please help me out. I have now spent 4 days trying to do this…

Please login in as me - or have anyone you can on your team just update this for me.

It is imperative i get help with this ASAP - i bought the license last week and i still cannot delete…

Hey There,

Yes we can do that for you just make sure to make a backup before of your site and keep in mind that there is a chance that some things might break as it’s a rather major upgrade. Once we have the ok from you we can start the process.

I dont have those - i tried to log in but it wasnt taking any of that-- can you possibly just update the plugin through word press? also can someone call me so we can bang this out… this thread is taking forever…

Hello, I am also in the same situation. Cornerstone is not allowing me to delete.

I have very limited technical experience with WP so I’ll probably need Staff to log in and assist. I’ve already spent the whole day trying to figure this out with no outcome…

Any help would be appreciated.

Please do open a new thread. Then on a secure note share your site and credentials there. Do not share those information here because it is visible to the original poster aside from the staff. It is important to create your own thread. Then please do also give more information on the issue you were having. Do you mean, you can’t delete an element? If yes, did you already try to update?
