Cornerstone Custom Post Type Enabling

Can someone explain how you enable CORNERSTONE for a custom post type? We have correctly registered a custom post type but when going to the front end it is not possible to edit this using the Cornerstone editor.

Thank you

Hi Jason,

Thanks for reaching out.
You can enable the Cornerstone for Custom Post Type from the Cornerstone > Settings > Permission as shown in the given screenshot.

Hope it helps.
Thanks

Hi there,
Yes we see that

When we create a new post using the posttype, the editor opens like this:

As you can see there is no CORNERSTONE option in the edit section.

Thanks.

Hi Jason,

If that is the case, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

Sorry for the delay, it made sense to setup a staging version of the website. I have shared via SECURE NOTE.

Hi Jason,

I have checked your Post Type and found that the Cornerstone is already enabled and showing the option Edit With Cornerstone.

Thanks

PLease click that and then go and edit it on the front end if you can.

Hi Jason,

While clicking into the Edit With Cornerstone, it was opening the post into the Cornerstone as shown in the given screenshot in the secure note.

If you are not redirecting to the Cornerstone, please provide any video that helps us to recognize the problem.

Thanks
