Cornerstone creates an error and will not work - please help

Hi there, I have installed X on my site and have not been able to edit at all in Cornerstone - it comes up with this error message:

Not Found

The requested URL /carolinelivesey.co.uk/x/ was not found on this server.

Apache/2.4.26 (Unix) Server at 79.170.40.173 Port 80

Can you please assist? I did look through the forums for the solution but have not found this specific issue, but apologies if I have missed it.

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! To resolve this issue, please go to Settings > Permalinks and set it to “Post Name”. Your .htaccess must be writable so that WordPress can automatically change it.
