Cornerstone Content Editor Preview will not load

I recently installed some plugins to help page speed- Smush Pro and Hummingbird Pro. When I try to edit a page in cornerstone it does not load the content in the preview only the header and footer with nothing in between.

I deleted both plugins and all others that were not necessary. It was loading fine before I installed them. I deleted from my database and check to make sure the rules were gone in the ht access.
The previewer editor is still not loading. The Header and Footer builder loads fine and shows the content of the page but when I go to edit the content only the header and footer show up.

Thanks for writing in! Please temporarily deactivate Hummingbird plugin and test your page again. If nothing is helping, provide us access to your site so that we can check your settings. Please create a secure note with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password

Hello thank you for the reply. I deactivated and deleted both plugins before I created this thread I will send the credentials.

What’s your server address? You also removed the WordPress Admin access so we won’t be able to verify if the we’ll make works. Please provide complete information. We need the following:

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin level username and password
  • Server Address
  • Server Username and Password (already given. please don’t remove)

Thanks but sorry, your site seems to be down at the moment. Please check.

In the meantime, you said above that you deleted both plugins, but did you clear those plugin’s caching before you delete? If not, please reinstall those plugins and make sure the caching of those plugins are cleared. Because sometimes, caching residue remains even though you deleted the plugin.

We can access your WP dashboard using VPN. The FTP is not. Can you please re install the X theme and Cornerstone plugin? You can do it by logging in to your FTP, rename the x and cornerstone folders and then upload the files. We may be able to do it in your WP dashboard. We need your permission to put your site in under construction mode first before we can proceed though.

Would you mind lifting the restrictions and blocking once again? And please don’t enable them until we’re able to determine the cause of this issue. I can’t access even the site admin as of now, perhaps the blockings are active again.

They are lifted now. I cannot turn off my security restrictions as we host a lot of other websites. I can add IP addresses to whitelabels. I will monitor closely and continue to flush blocks if needed.
