I use Flatsome for other websites and have the ability to choose specific blog posts instead of just ‘recent posts’.
Is this possible with X too? It would save me a lot of time. Currently on X, I have to create images and resize, upload and link to specific posts.

There are no such options or elements to show the specific posts, still, you can use Recent Post shortcode or Classic Recent Post element and mention the offset and count attribute into it to show a specific set of posts.

And also you can try by using the bundled grid plugins. Both have the option to select the specific Categories or Terms to show.
