Cornerstone (Version 4.2.3) causes painfully slow load times for menus (~50-60 items in menu nested).
With cornerstone active (all other plugins are deactivated) it takes over 20 seconds to load the menu in the admin and be able to click on anything, with cornerstone disabled it loads in less than 1 second.
I also noticed that everything in the drop down (options for the menu items) is duplicated when cornerstone is active, image attached.

Thank you for bringing our attention to the problem. I am not sure how efficient we can be when it comes to cases that there are many menu items, because those additional options do take resources no doubt about that.
But the fact that it is duplicated is interesting and might be the underlying cause.
We add this in our issue tracker and our development team will take a look and you can follow up the bug fix in our changelog.
At the moment, the only thing we can suggest is to temporarily, deactivate Cornerstone while dragging and dropping the menus.
