I purchase an X theme a while back but never used it. I recently decided that I would install the theme on my business site and activated it with the purchased license. We tried to edit in cornerstone and it is 100% broke and unuseable - it looks like old html code running down the page. When we preview the site it shows up and works within reason. However, when I click edit with cornerstone or when I create a new page using cornerstone, it is totally broken.

Thank you for writing in, the issue is your version of WordPress is out dated (v4.8.7). Please update your WordPress to the latest version (as of this writing its v4.9.8)
Remember to clear all your caching features (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) after updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.
