Cornerstone background image problems

Hi there,

I’m new to working with websites and cornerstone. I’m following tutorials on how to create a background image in a section for a page and when I upload the image it looks great, so I save my work and then preview. Here is where the problem arises. In the preview screen the background image has been drastically reduced in height, not width. I’ve tried adjusting some of the padding, but that only helps a little bit. Any suggestions? Thank you

Hello Blake,

Thanks for writing in! Does your section have row and a column? Is your column, an empty column? Please be advised that the background image will cover the entire section area. In the preview, the column has a default or minimum height when it is empty. When you view that section, row and empty column in the live page, you will see a difference in height or shows you nothing. I would recommend that you set a minimum height by using a gap element inside the column. Please do not leave it empty.
