Cornerstone assistance with existing page

First, my site dates back to before the installation of X then Pro. All recent pages were added with standard WordPress tools.

If I navigate to a specific page then select Cornerstone, the contents are not displayed. Instead, I’m presented with “How would you like to start” with three choices, none of which amount to ‘load the existing content.’ The exception is that the slider above the navigation bar is visible. Is this user error, or must I convert the current pages/posts?

Thanks for reaching out!

You cannot edit the existing content using Cornerstone. You should build the content from the scratch using Cornerstone. Please note that the Cornerstone content cannot be edited outside the builder.

Thanks. Just a quick follow up (just in case). Can I manually edit the HTML to make compatible?

Hello Ken,

Only pages created with Cornerstone can be edited in Cornerstone. Even if you added or manually edit the HTML, it will still needs the Cornerstone data. It is best that you recreate the page from scratch using Cornerstone.
