I know there are problems with the auto translate of pages with WPML so I have tried to just create the translation in cornerstone for this page https://axisstars.com/about/. In the backend all of it is correct but on the FR version of the page that shows on the frontend, it is randomly showing some bits of English. Also the formatting is different even tho I created a template of the english page and loaded that to the french one. can you help?

If it’s through the new translation feature of WPML, then there is a chance that it may break the shortcode structure, plus, it’s not fully compatible with v2 elements.
If the above solution does not help, this might be a problem with the original page creation and not related to WPML. Would you please kindly test the point below first and get back to us with the result?
- Create a backup of your website.
- Install this plugin.
- Use the plugin to clone the homepage.
- Disable all plugins including WPML except the Cornerstone plugin.
- Test the cloned homepage and get back to us with the result.
- Also please kindly test other previously added pages so we know if it is an only homepage problem or other pages have the same problem.
If the problem is happening only on the homepage, please check the cloned version of the homepage and delete the sections one by one and see if it fixes the issue. That way you will find the problematic section and you will recreate that section.

I have never had this problem before. I deleted the French about page and copied it again as you suggested and it still brings the headlines through in English. I did it manually rather than using WPML. I can’t really deactivate all our plugins as we have them for various functionality on the site. Is there no other way you can help me?

The reason behind the fact that my colleague asked for the test is to isolate the problem cause this is not what we see on our installation and this must be something related to your environment.
I suggest that you consider creating a staging version of your website to do the test without the fear of disrupting the normal functionality of your live website. You can follow the guide below:
