Cornerstone and Revolution slider carousel

Hi,
I use an onpager with X theme, cornerstone and revolution slider.
The slider is a carousel to show the blog entries.
After the initial work on this customer site everything worked fine.
But then the carousel slider started to make trouble:
On smaller view widths the first image is cut.
It is strange.
Please take a look on it.
I send you the link in a secure note.
Thank you,
Hannes

Hey @salilou,

The best X position for Visible Layers for your current setup is Left.

I’d recommend you learn more about the Carousel settings here https://www.sliderrevolution.com/documentation/carousel-settings

Hope that helps.

Thank you, but this does not seem to be the solution.
I have built now a completely new carousel slider.
I inserted it into the original page (#1) an in a completely new page (#2).
On page #1 it does not work.
On page#2 it does work.
Maybe there is a problem with the cornerstone code on page #1?

Hello @salilou,

When I checked the pages and compared the slider carousel, I am seeing exactly the same copy. It is working as expected and you can click on the next and the previous button icons.

Please see the secure note.

Best Regards.

Thank you. On larger screen width it is OK.
But on smaller screen width the carousel is broken.
Please see screenshots from latest Firefox.

Remarkable is, that on a new page the problem isnt there.

Hi Hannes,

Glad that it resolved now.

Thanks

No, it is NOT resolved!
On a new page is works, but on my important onepager it does NOT WORK.
Please ask a collegue to read our correspondence again.

Hi Hannes,

Sorry for the confusion, if that does not work in the onepager you are mentioned before, there might be some other sections which is the reason behind it. I would suggest you check by deleting the section one by one till the issue is fixed, and the last one you have deleted before the fix is the actual issue.
If that does not help, please copy your live site to a staging server so we could troubleshoot freely without breaking your live site.
And give us access in the secure note including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

NOW IT WORKS!
Thank you.
I did it before, what you sugested, but did NOT delete the section with the problematic slider!
Now i deleted this section, toot, and it moved the slider elemet to a new section.
It works. Great - thank you!
What was the reason?
Was the cornerstone page code disturbed?

Oh no, too fast. It is buggy again.
I have a look at it and do the steps again, and if it does not work, I do a staging site.

Hi Hannes,

I tested your website in multiple browsers, and in different devices of different sizes. I also tried to reproduce the issue by re-sizing the browser windows, but not able to do so.
Can you please check once by clearing your browser cache, and let us know if that exists. So we can start investigating your staging site.

Thanks

I found the cause of the issue. In Cornerstone there was a align center seeting for the column, that contains the slider element. I just rmoved the centering and now it works. Small setting, big effect.
Thank you for your patience!

Hi Hannes,

Glad that it resolved now.

Thanks
