Cornerstone and global css styles not applying

Hi,

I am using the latest version of Pro but Cornerstone styles aren’t working, for example I have a blue border on an image block and the preview in Cornerstone shows that it’s working but when I check the live page there is no border (I’ve used the Inspector tool and it’s not in there either). Styles in the Global CSS area no longer works either however styles that were put in there before it stopped working are still being applied.

Thanks, Steve

Hi There,

Thanks for writing in! It could be that you’re having errors in your CSS rules, so that it won’t parse correctly. Could you please copy all of your custom CSS rules into an online tool like CSS Lint (http://csslint.net/) and check for errors.

If not, provide us with the page URL in your question to take a closer look.

Thanks!

Hi,

I have moved my CSS to a stylesheet and cannot see any errors, after further investigation I have found some errors in the console when editing with pro.

Please can you advise?

Thanks

Hi There,

As the screenshot is not visible, I can say this is not error but showing some warning, due to lots of CSS and JS added to the site.
There is noting to worry about till the site and editor working fine.
You can ignore it.

Thanks

Hi,

I believe the problem lies with the as when I copy and paste all the css into my text editor it shows a big chunk of the css isn’t working but I cannot see what is causing the problem, here is a link to the website - http://generalanestheticservices-puaa.temp-dns.com

Please can you investigate?

Thanks, Steve

Hi Steve,

In that case, would you mind providing us with your admin details in a Secure Note so that we can check and test your current setup?

Also, please try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Thank you.

Hi,

I have now attached a secure note to my previous message with login details.

Regards, Steve

Hi Steve,

In the footer builder, there was a missing } in the last code snippet added there, I’ve added it for you and now CSS codes in Global CSS section should work fine:

Thanks.
