Hey there,
Here’s a link to a little video about Cornerstone and content in the Modern Tribe events calendar.
I think it speaks for itself, so no other explanation is needed.
Thanks for watching!
Best,
Nancy

Hello Nancy,
Thank you for the very detailed video presentation. Please understand that we haven’t fully tested the Pro contents/ Cornerstone’s content for X theme users to be used as the event editor. I can confirm that this issue is happening at the moment. One thing to remember is that the Pro editor or Cornerstone in X is a page builder. It might be used to create a post but we haven’t thought of using it as the editor of Modern Tribe events editor. This is something that we can add to our enhancements list and might be a full integration of the plugin in our future release. Your feedback has been duly noted.
Thank you for your understanding.
Hi RueNel,
Thanks so much for your kind response.I completely understand and just wanted to make you aware. It took me awhile to understand what was happening on this end and was a source of frustration until I did some trouble shooting. I’ve since started using the WP editor knowing that I can count on it for events with many occurrences. Cornerstone still works great when there is only one occurrence of an event.
An additional aspect of this is that in the cornerstone settings, there are many options to enable for the content builder. Maybe events should not be one of them. The expectation that Cornerstone will work is set by virtue of the fact that events is listed. Just a thought. . . I have no idea how the choices in the “Allowed Post Types” are set to show. See screen shot below.
Thanks again for your response.
Best,
Nancy
Hi @NLeVasseur,
The event is another post type and our builder doesn’t have the ability to predict the functionality and features it has especially if it’s created by another developer. We can’t block all post types either, as some post types are just simply similar to pages and posts. Our only option is to let the user decide to which post types they will allow.
The only post type that cornerstone that can automatically disallow are media library, attachments, and similar that are built-in to Wordpress and theme. Post types from other plugins and authors are different and we can’t just block them.
Thanks for understanding.
