Cornerstone and Customize giving session expired message

Hi There
We recently updated wordpress, our plugins and X theme at www.theflowfestival.com and are now getting this message when trying to access customizer, or cornerstone.

Session expired
Please log in again. The login page will open in a new window. After logging in you can close it and return to this page.

I have seen this topic posted elsewere and have tried deactivating the plug ins one by one, made sure everything is up to date, revalidated x theme, and have double checked that we are only on a direct server and not on wordpress.org so there is no connectivity issue there. Can someone from your team look into this?

Thank you for writing in, as this could be a caching and cookies related, please clear all the site’s caching feature and clear your browser’s cache and cookies. as well.

When you access your site, is it in secure-protocol (HTTPS:)? or not? It is possible that culprit of this issue is how you set up your SSL certificate. It seems you’re supposed to access your site via https: but then your site resources seems to stay in non-secure (HTTP:)

Please do the suggestion I’ve provided here.

On a side note, your X – Email Forms (MailChimp) and X – Google Analytics extensions are out dated, please deactivate and delete it, then re-install it from X > Validation > Extensions

Remember to clear all your caching features (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) after updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

Thanks for the response.
We do not have SSL on this site, so there should not be an issue with https.

I cleared the cache, cleared browsing history, deleted those two plugins as noted and reinstalled them, and still nothing. I get this screen when I try to access themes, customizer or cornerstone.

This is known issue for older versions of wordpress.

Please update wordpress to latest version.

Wordpress 4.9.8

Don’t forget to create full backup of your site before updating.
